Sabapathy, the film's hero, upon hearing Pandi's plan suggests they open up a phot studio since he has an inkling towards photography. However, business is not booming as they had expected and the gang decide to bring a model and market their studio using her face. They all then realize bringing a model from the city could prove too costly for them and they decide to use flower-seller Jangiri Madhumitha for the purpose.
In the meantime, Lughna Ahmed, who happens to be a top model comes is persuaded by her by friend to work with Sabapathy and his friends after she comesacross an advertisement done by them. It is love at first sight for Sabapathy after seeing Lughna Ahmed. He then decides to take photographs of her in secret and sends them to her after a few days. When questioned why he had done so, he reveals he is in fact in love with her which she too later accepts. Lughna Ahmed then tells about her relationship with Sabapathy to her father Aadukalam Naren, who happens to be a police officer. He then decides to meet him and invites him to come over. Sabapathy, who is accompanied by Pandi infuriates Aadukalam Naren as he realizes Pandi was the reason his mother Jothilakshmi killed herself. Pandi flees the scene while Naren arrests Sabapathy. Whether Sabapathy and Lughna Ahmed unite despite Aadukalam Naren's opposition and what happens to Pandi forms the rest of the plot of Keikraan Meikkiran.
Sabapathy has played his role well as necessary to the script without going overboard. Lughna Ahmed is pretty throughout the film and does her role justice. Although Black Pandi has tried his best to make us laugh with his comedy antics throughout the narrative, there are only few chuckle-worthy moments. Aadukalam Naren, Rekha Suresh, Jangiri Madhumitha, Shalu have all given decent performances.
Director S. Sam Emmanuel has attempted to tell a story that informs us on choosing wise friends who steer us on the right path in life. D. Karthik's cinematography skills come to the fore and Aditya Mahadevan's music lend strength to the film.
In short, Keikraan Meikkiran is one-time watchable.
