Vishnu is simply whiling away his time with his friends Arjunan and Rajkumar after completing his college. his father Jayaprakash doesn't pay much heed to his son's laziness since he is too affectionate to him. His friends take advantage of Vishnu's innocence on several occasions over their affairs with girls. However, Vishnu pulls off the guise and lands his friends in trouble. As a result, the perplexed friends curse Vishnu that he would never be successful in love. Vishnu, however, challenges them saying he will definitely meet someone special and that nothing could go wrong since he was born on Valentine's Day.
He then goes after Ishara Nair and proposes to her after she had proposed to him during college days. However, disappointment is in store for him as she has gotten married and now has a child. A dejected Vishnu then comes across Sub-Inspector Varsha and decides he must fall in love and marry her at all costs. The rest of the plot revolves around whether Vishnu manages to win Varsha's heart and overcomes the curse of his friends.
A popular face in the television world and oft seen in small roles in films, this is Vishnu's full length role in cinema and he has performed his part well. His mannerisms at being innocent as well as doing naughty antics with his friends are highly enjoyable. Arjunan and Rajkumar as the friends do justice to their roles and entertain us with their antics. Ishara Nair has already been seen in few films before and she fits the bill of a married woman with child perfectly. After rising to popularity with dubsmash, Varsha makes her acting debut with this film. Her character is the most serious in the film and she done a tremendous job. Arul Dass, Bhagavathi Perumal and Rams lend big support to the supporting cast and provide the most fun-filled moments in the film.
Director Suresh Kumar has attempted to make a film that is filled with comedy as well family sentiment. He has made a film that can be watched and enjoyed with the family. Although the first half proceeds rather slowly, the pace picks up in the second half and turns out to be a good entertainer. NR Raghunanthan's songs as well as background score okay while P & G's cinematography skills come to the fore and they done a good job.
