The rest of the plot of Sathura Adi 3500 revolves around whether Nikhil manages to unlock the mystery behind the death of the deceased civil engineer and if at all there is a presence of supernatural spirit in the building.
Nikhil Mohan has nailed the cop look required for his role, but has falled short in terms of his performance. Iniya's role is precise and she plays as necessary for the part. Although Rahman has delivered yet another commendable performance, he could have chosen a better role. Prathap Pothen's character has its shortfalls and he too could have done better. Kovai Sarala, MS Bhaskar, Manobala, Thalaivasal Vijay and Swathi Dixit appearing in supporting roles have done a decent job.
Despite being billed as a film based on a true incident by director Jaison, the film falters in its screenplay. There is no relation the subsequent scenes which leads to confusion often. There are few instances in the film that also make us cringe. In addition, reputed actors have been used to their best and full potential. Otherwise, there isn't much that can be said about the film. Although Ganesh Raghavendra's songs as well as background score are just average, cinematography by I Francis impressive.
In short, Sathura Adi 3500 is below average.
