Rukku is a young fortune teller in her village, and men constantly lust after her due to her beauty. Hence, she hates men as their only intention seems to attain or bed her. Similarly, Babu Radhakrishnan also immediately gets attracted to her, but after knowing getting to know her real character he genuinely falls for her.
When Babu approached her to express his love, Rukku bluntly rejects him as she thinks that he is also lusting after her. But Babu constantly sought after her and proves his love as much as he possibly can. The rest of the plot revolves around whether Rukku accepts him or not.
Babu Radhakrishnan, is the director and the main lead. He has delivered a cringe-worthy performance, and his direction skills also borders on the same line. Though it is an age old story, the director has ultimately failed to keep the audience hooked to the screen. All together it feels like Babu has made a desperate attempt at directing and acting.
The girl who essays the role of Rukku, has delivered a below the average and an amateurish performance. R Maniprasath's cinematography skills are majorly questionable as the shots are really poor and shaky through out the movie. PM Kapoor has provided the music for the film and it is definitely not a pleasant tune to listen too.
In short, Rukku, is way below average.
