Head of the archaeologist department Sachin Khedekar discovers an element which will act as a cure to all the diseases. Sachin gets hold of the map to find the element and gathers a team, which is lead by Gautham Karthik, who is an ardent fan of Indiana Jones and is an adventure freak.
Out of excitement, Gautham Karthik opens up to Sudhanshu Pandey, who is a complete stranger and his fellow passenger, about his archaeological hunt. Sudhanshu realising the value and power of the element, plans to follow Gautham and steal it from him. The rest of the plot revolves around whether Gautham Karthik succeeds on tracking the element down and how he stops Sudhanshu from mis-using it.
Gautham Karthik has pulled of his character well. Infact he appears to be fresh and active in every scene. He once again proves that he has the credentials to be a commercial hero. Sudhanshu Pandey, makes his debut into Kollywood, and his performance as a stylish baddie is sure to make an impression on the audience. Ashrita Shetty and Sonarika Bhadoria have very little to perform other than being the hero's interest.. Sachin Khedekar plays a pivotal role and has yet again delivered a convincing performance.
Kalaa Prabu has done a pretty decent job in the directorial department even though many loose ends are evident. He has attempted to make an adventure film filled with fantasy, which is one of a kind in Tamil cinema. Though the story can be easily deciphered, the screenplay is quite interesting. While the VFX could have been better, the stunts and visuals can be appreciated. Rasamadhi cranks the camera and has made the movie very colourful. KP has handled the music department and his background scores are relatively better than the songs.
In short, Indrajith, is adventurous.
