Meanwhile, the local thug Daniel Balaji's brother also falls in love with Janani Iyer. When he gets to know about Rameez and Janani's relationship, he flips and kidnaps her. Co-incidentally Sendrayan kidnaps Rameez at the same time and they both are held captive at the same abandon building. In this situation, Karuna Karan gets caught in between the crossfire as that's the building in which he had kept the robbed cash.
All of them get into a fight for an escape and accidentally end up killing Daniel Balaji's brother. This leads the thug to believe that Rameez was the one behind his brother's death and seeks out for vengenance by killing Rameez's parents. That's when the hero wakes up to find out that it was all a dream. But he soon realises that it was a premonition rather than a nightmare. How Rameez stops it all from happening again in reality forms the rest of the plot.
Post Rameez Raja's notable performance in Darling 2, the actor has yet again delivered a decent performance in this comedy thriller film. Yet, he needs to imporve a lot in emoting his feelings a little better. Janani Iyer as usual looks cute and has done a good job. Karuna Karan's comedy sequences work in aparts, while Daniel Balaji has pulled of his role as a baddie really well.
Tamil films which revolve around premonition is a rare occasion. Trying to club thrilling and humour elements together in such a genre is one of a kind attempt in Kollywood, which has been done by Vijai Balaji S. Though his direction delivers the story well, the loose screenplay and cliched scenes and humour lacks the much needed enthusiasm to sit through the entire film. Yet the filmmaker can be appreciated for the try.
Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy makes his entry into the industry with Vidhi Madhi Ultaa as a music composer, and his tunes are in sync with the movie's genre. Especially his background scores are much better than the songs.
Martin Joe's cinematography skills come to the fore and he has shot well.
In short, Vidhi Madhi Ultaa, is average.
