Both Rajan Tejeshwar and Tharushi are new comers. The former has pulled off the character decently, is able to emote well in romantic and action scene. However, the later has very little to perform other than being the hero's love interest.
Director Ravi Abbulu is back is wielding the megaphone after almost 17 years. He lastly had worked with Vijay in Shajahan. Seyal, set in the back drops of North Chennai is a commercial flick, with all the necessary elements present in such a movie like; action, humour, romance, etc. Though the one line of the story seems serious, the film is made in a hilarious way.
Siddharth Vipin has scored the music and it average. V Elayaraja's cinematography skills come to fore and he has shot well.
In short, Seyal average.
